University of Houston 2025 Piano, Digital Piano and Violin Sale

The Rockley Family Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to supporting music education, has partnered with the Moores School of Music at the University of Houston on an opportunity that you might find of interest. Musical instruments that have been provided by the Rockley Family Foundation to the Moores School of Music or otherwise made available from other sources will be sold to the public by the Rockley Family Foundation at a significant discount from the manufacturer’s retail pricing. Proceeds from the sale will allow the Rockley Family Foundation to provide valuable resources and scholarship money for students of the Moores School of Music.

A large selection of grand pianos, baby grands, digital player grands, vertical (upright) pianos, hybrid pianos, digital pianos, violins, violas, and cellos will be available for sale. The event will feature starter to professional-level instruments from such famous makers such as Steinway & Sons, Yamaha, Seiler, Roland, Italia Fine Violins, and many others. Most of the instruments for sale will be less than one year old, tuned, ready to play, and will include a service contract. Delivery and special no-interest financing will be available on site. Moreover, in most cases, a substantial portion of your purchase can be considered as a charitable contribution to the Rockley Family Foundation and may be TAX DEDUCTIBLE.*

BY APPOINTMENT: You, along with the faculty and staff of the Moores School of Music, are invited to attend a special private sale on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, January 9-11. This will give you an opportunity to purchase with priority in selection and price reductions. To secure an appointment time (including “virtual” options) call: (713) 724-8672 or visit www.RockleyFamilyFoundation.org/UH

The Rockley Family Foundation will hold the sale on campus in room 185 of the Moores School of Music Building, 3333 Cullen Blvd, Houston, TX 77204. Ample parking is available across the street.

In a time when creative solutions are needed to maintain a properly equipped music program and support music students, this initiative is important to us in our efforts to advance education in music and the arts. We invite you to take advantage of this wonderful opportunity.

* You should consult with your own tax adviser to determine the individual deductibility of any contribution. To opt out or unsubscribe from University of Houston mailings, please email giftproc@central.uh.edu.
