The Department of Music at UT-Arlington had the use of new pianos and digital pianos on a no-cost basis for the 2021 year. This arrangement is provided through an association with the Rockley Family Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. These instruments and ones made otherwise available will be sold at a substantial discount from new retail pricing to perpetuate this valuable program and provide financial support for the music department.
A large selection of grands, baby grands, digital player grands, vertical (upright) pianos, digital pianos, violins, violas, and cellos will be available. This event will feature starter to professional level instruments from famous makers such as Yamaha, Bösendorfer, Seiler, Stravari Fine Violins, a discrete selection of vintage Steinway & Sons pianos, and many others. Most instruments are less than one-year old, include a new factory warranty, are tuned, and ready to go. Delivery and special no-interest financing is available on site. Moreover, the Rockley Family Foundation indicates that in most cases, a substantial portion of your purchase is considered a charitable contribution to the Rockley Family Foundation and may be TAX DEDUCTIBLE.*
BY APPOINTMENT: You are invited to attend a special “private sale” on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, January 13-15, along with our faculty and staff. This will give you an opportunity to purchase with priority in selection and price reductions. To secure a time call: 817-676-7043.
This event will be held on campus in the Music Department, Room 104 of the Fine Arts Building, 700 Greek Row Dr., Arlington, TX 76019. Cleaning and social distancing protocols will be implemented to provide a safe environment for this sale. For directions and protocol details (including “virtual appointment” options) please call or visit: www.RockleyFamilyFoundation.org/UTA.
In a time where creative solutions are needed to maintain a properly equipped music program, the continuation of this loan program is important to us in our efforts to further education in the arts. We invite you to take advantage of this wonderful opportunity.
